Terms of Service

Vanray provides WiFi hotspot billing software — branded captive portals, M-Pesa STK Push integration via Safaricom Daraja, voucher generation, MikroTik provisioning and analytics. We do not provide internet bandwidth, M-Pesa licences, or CAK licences. You are responsible for those independently.

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and authorized to bind your business.

• Don't use Vanray to provide unlicensed telecommunications services where a CAK licence is required.
• Don't use it to facilitate fraud, money laundering or any illegal activity.
• Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, resell or sublicense the platform without our written consent.
• Comply with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 in relation to your end-users.

You use your own Safaricom Daraja credentials and your own Paybill/Till. Funds settle directly into your M-Pesa account; Vanray never custodies your end-users' payments. You're responsible for reconciliation, taxes and any disputes with Safaricom or your end-users.

Vanray is offered on a monthly subscription. Fees are listed on the pricing page in Kenya Shillings, exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. No refunds for partial months, except where required by law.

For end-user data (your customers), you are the data controller and Vanray is your data processor under section 42 of the DPA. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service unless an SLA is separately agreed in writing (typically on the ISP / Pro plan). Planned maintenance will be announced where practicable.

The Vanray platform, including its name, logo, code and design, is owned by [Your Company Ltd]. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for the duration of your subscription. Your branding, content and customer data remain yours.

Either party may terminate on 30 days' notice. We may suspend immediately for non-payment, abuse, or breach of these Terms. On termination, you may export your data for 30 days; thereafter it will be deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vanray disclaims all implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify Vanray against claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these Terms or applicable law, including any claim by your end-users, Safaricom or the CAK.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nairobi.
